Hi, I’m Aurelia
Let me explain,
I have a particular interest in, and a great deal of experience of, working with people and the various issues that they bring..
Maybe you feel anxious and don’t know why?
Perhaps you’ve had things happen in your past that still seem to be affecting your life now?
The human brain, mine, yours, everyone’s, is not all that clever sometimes, and it’s a bit out of date for the world we live in.
It tries to look after us and protect us but this isn’t always effective and can cause us pain and distress. Understanding what is happening can help you to change.
I sucessfully work with many issues but have particular knowledge and expertise in issues arising from trauma, PTSD and anxiety.
I work in South East Kent and Brighton.
I use findings from neuroscience coupled with an Integrative Counselling approach to help you sort things out.
I can help you understand why you feel as you do, explain what your brain is doing and show you ways to change your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
So, please give me a ring and we can have a chat about what you need. There is no charge for this. I realise that contacting a therapist can be scary (I remember when I had to see one as part of my training!), and I will do my best to put you at ease. I’m a warm and approachable person. So call for a chat first and sound me out!
I offer support with your current situation and will work with you to help you find solutions to the things you want to change in your life.
I don’t just sit there and listen, I see the counselling relationship as a dynamic one, in which we both take part.
I specialise in issues arising from trauma such as PTSD, but have experience with a wide range of issues such as:
Anxiety, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder
Self esteem and Depression
I am constantly updating my knowledge through research and academic work.
I also offer a service to help you stop smoking. This is something I developed myself and I used it on myself. I no longer smoke!
I offer both these services in South East Kent and Brighton.
I deal with all sorts of personal issues:
- Anxiety and Generalised Anxiety Disorder
- Self Esteem + Self Worth
- Issues arising from Trauma
- Relationship Problems
- Self Injury
- Mental Health Issues
- Childhood Sexual Abuse
- Help to stop smoking
- Sex and Relationship Issues
I work in Kent and East Sussex.

Counselling via Skype
- Duration 50 minutes
I also have a limited number of spaces at a reduced rate (this can be discussed during the initial assessment)
I am an experienced therapist and qualified Mental Health Professional.
I am passionate about what I do and have particular knowledge and expertise in issues arising from trauma, PTSD and anxiety.
As well as my private practice, I am currently employed as a specialist childhood sexual abuse and rape therapist.
I have worked with a varied range of people from the ages of 13 upwards, male and female, many of whom had extremely complex needs.
I practice in both Kent and Brighton.
After each session I would leave with a huge smile on my face. This is because I know that everything we have talked about is a step closer to me accepting my past as being the past. I am now very optimistic about my future and can’t wait to start living the life I want to live. The last thing I want to say is a huge thank you for being my counsellor. I could not have wished for someone better. Thank you so much
Just wanted to say thank you for all your help over the last few months. I feel like I have change and grown so much over the last few months and worked out some really important things that are essential to my continuing development. I feel much more equipped now on my path of love and acceptance of myself and others and continuing contentment.
You have helped me in so many ways, I can’t thank you enough. I’m a mum again, I’m starting to be me again and that is just amazing. I really couldn’t have wished for a better counsellor than you. The way you help people is simply amazing. I will never forget everything you have done for me.
I can’t thank you enough for all of the kindness, help and support that you have shown me. You have helped me through one of the darkest times of my life, and for that, I will always be grateful. You have helped me to find myself.
